Ethical Procurement

Springmount Services is committed to upholding human rights, fair working conditions and environmental protection. We conduct business in an ethical, legal and socially responsible manner and expect our suppliers to share this commitment.

Our preference is to engage local suppliers within our Code of Conduct, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainable Purchasing policies. We seek to create social benefit and work with suppliers and key business partners who:

provide assurance that no form of abuse or exploitation is permitted within their supply chain
offer Fair Trade products, where appropriate
share our commitment to creating social benefits from unused or decommissioned products
comply with legislated labour/workplace requirements and environmental requirements.

We engage local suppliers to assist with employment, growth and development of the local communities across geographical areas we work in.

Springmount Services is focused on building good relations between all our employees and committed to promoting diversity within our organisation.

We currently work with accredited indigenous recruitment company, First Grade and with Disability Employment Services, My Pathway in Far North Queensland.

Springmount Youth Future Development Program

We created a youth initiative to support disadvantaged children in local communities to achieve their dreams and full potential.

One of the young people in the development program is Qitarah Wallace, a 13-year-old Aboriginal runner from Alice Springs. We are excited to sponsor Qitarah’s sporting endeavours to ensure she has the opportunity to achieve success as a runner, athlete and capable young person.
